There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there is such a thing as a free baby class here in Dallas, and I say that’s even better. Our favorite is Baby Bounce Basics at North Park mall’s Bookmarks library. It’s awesome.
The babies and I meet – and have met – good friends at this class almost every week. It takes place every Monday, Thursday and Friday at 12:30p.
Our kiddos love shaking the bell toys and waving the colorful scarves along with the music.
The class is nearly always full but somehow never feels too crowded. We try to get there 10 minutes early to snag a good seat. The best part about it is that it is teaching my little ones how to share and interact with other little ones (and for free! Have I mentioned that enough?!).
Plus it gives me a great excuse to get out of the house with the babies and chit chat with other mommas.
I am so grateful that we discovered Bookmarks, especially being new to Dallas this year. It’s a great resource for families with young kids. There are several other classes offered through Bookmarks for babies, toddlers and preschoolers that we can’t wait to check out as the babies get a little older.
